We scan, consult and make 3d stuff
We are a team of 3d makers of custom bespoke shop displays, live event stages, exhibition equipment and even props for films and streaming platforms. From these early beginnings we now produce luxury furnishings, furniture, custom lighting and all kinds of wacky automotive parts, toys, prototypes, face scans, pets, memorials, archaeology sites and yes really you think of it, we’ve probably scanned it for a customer.
Our main day to day is Making custom items in metal through traditional fabrication methods and scanning and producing stuff for 3d printing. Our resin/ plastic capability is approximately 350 x 200 x 400 print volume. If it’s bigger it will need to be printed in multiple parts, (you’d never know). We also offer electro plating for 3d prints in brass, copper and nickel.
We offer four main types of scanning
- Small items in our studio with or without textures (colour information to make it look real).
- Large items in our studio because you don’t have the equipment needed or the space
- Small items at your location for any reason (with or without textures).
- Large items at your location for any reason (with or without textures).

The first time I saw a 3d scanner in person.
3d Scanning in my lifetime. It was about 1996, I was talking to a friend on my evening job about my hopes for the future. We had both read about 3d technology improvements. Inconceivably crazy fast forwarding to now we have, 3d scanners, Photogrammetry, lidar, laser scanning and before all of this we had Wacom tablets and data input systems like 3d position data entry arms. Only in the since the first part of the 2020’s has 3d scanning really become a mainstream thing. Our goal has always been supplying high end quality models of real life items and cool stylistic concepts for all types of media output.
How we evolve in 3d
From motion capture of people and objects to highly detailed scans for insurance and scientific study. Industrial companies first really embraced 3d scanning as it allowed them to gain better knowledge of their capacity for manufacture and to help optimise bulk carrying systems in specialist cargo applications. (scanning goods containers and trucks to help them carry more equipment and stuff!?).
What’s next in 3d Scanning
Now that everyone and their dog, yes robotic dogs have 3d scanners built into them for range finding. It’s time to accept it as a normal everyday thing. Once the subject of science fiction it’s now a day to day reality and you are constantly interacting with it and in many instances without knowing for the most part. Bottom line, literally! We have been doing this so long we can make the process effortless.
